Day 4 - Ferry ride to Mykonos Island
We took our first high-speed ferry to reach Mykonos, and the interior looks just like an airplane. It was literally a 3 hour tour (insert Gilligan Island theme song).

Arriving at the hotel by 1p to salvage the rest of the day. Some much needed R&R awaits! It didn't take long to find my first greek beer at the pool bar (Alpha beer!). Mykonos law says that every building must be painted white as chalk, so every building matches that white tone in my background.

Our next itinerary item was called Old Port where the islanders have made a tourist attraction in the historical area. The famous St. Nicholas was a well respected patron saint of sailors who has a church built in his honor, right on the coast.. There's churches and chapels everywhere you look.
This is also famous for the defending battles against the Ottoman empire. You can find a statue of Manto Mavrogenous who was an outstanding figure in the Mykonos resistance in the 1800's.

There's stray cats roaming all over the city area... and the Greeks take care of them like family. They're either all very friendly or very hungry, so you get their attention very easily. I feel as cozy as these cats from a week of Greek hospitality though.

Dinner at Nautilus! Grilled cheese anyone?
My first time having lamb on the trip. 'Bout time!

Yogurt can even be dessert in Greece. That was compliments of the restaurant because "we had to wait too long" for the actual desserts to be served.
