Day 1 - Greetings in Greece & The Arrival Dinner
Still alive as we arrive! We stayed awake for 24 hours before landing a nap in the hotel. The Aegean Sea provides a refreshing breeze like the ocean. The tour guides recommend recouping during the day since they have offered a cocktail dinner in the evening.
The hotel food was only rivaled by the view of the Acroplis from our rooftop dinner. Unbelievable appetizers like salad and cheese fritters were great until the main course stole the show. We had an authentic Greek dish called kontosouvli and rice with mushrooms. The cheesecake looked like it still needed assembled, but maybe that's just a European thing.





Our tour guide, Dionysia, is excited for our group. She's on her 24th year doing tours for Greece.
